A few years ago, we had a
presentation called "Free and
Inexpensive Resources." It was a
pretty popular list, but many
things have changed since then.
Here is the latest version.
There's a lot of really good,
free software available out
there! The problem is:
finding it. Well, we've
found several of these great
programs and tested them out for
you.
We've checked these programs as
much as we could for safety, but
if you're still concerned, you
may want to install the program
on a test computer before you
try it on all your machines.
Also, we know that we are
missing many very good programs
on our list (for instance, there
are several great antivirus
programs that are free).
However, many of these programs
are only for personal use, not
for schools. As far as we can
tell, the programs on our list
are safe for school download --
but to be sure, read your EULA
(end user license agreement).
Let's go to the list! Click
